This quote (via) by Jim Jarmusch (one of my favorite directors in Hollywood) is right on point: authenticity isn’t necessarily originality. Instead, it’s the conviction, love, and honest effort you put into the work you do.
I was on the elevator with this guy a few weeks/months ago. He was tall and smelled like cigarettes. I wish I could get a copy of The Typewriter, the Rifle & the Movie Camera.
